This series is an AU that begins where 'Restless' left off. In other words, anything that happened after 'Restless' is not part of this world. Spike has the chip in his head and is still somewhat reluctantly working with the Scooby Gang. Also, as far as we knew, Spike was sired sometime in 1873 by Angelus. Willow, while able to do some spells, is not the powerful witch she became in late season 5. And Buffy, unfortunately, is still seeing Riley...for now.
For those of you who had read "New Girl in Town", this series is actually based on it. I had just finished a couple new chapters and when I gave them to my new Beta reader, he wanted to re-Beta what had been written. With his assistance, I have been reworking the old chapters and, while the main story has not been changed, I am much happier with the end result. Hence, the new name.

There's a big demon in Sunnydale that can only be defeated by summoning another demon. While Spike, Buffy, and Xander keep a close eye on the demon, Willow searches for some special ingredients to complete the difficult spell.
After receiving a call from Willow, Angel takes a trip to a magic shop in LA to pick up the things she needs. He runs into someone he hasn't seen in a very long time.
