Another scene I’d like to See

By Colleen

Spike is sitting up against his headboard.  Buffy is cradled against him as though he were her chair.  He has his arms around her.

SPIKE: Happy, love?

BUFFY: Finally, yes.  I think I’ve got what I want “sussed out”.  Where’s my parade?

SPIKE: I’ll go out and hire the marching band.

BUFFY: You’re not going anywhere.

SPIKE: So, what do you want?

BUFFY: I want everyone else to be as happy as I am.  I want Willow to forgive herself for all the things she did and find her way back to Tara.  I want Xander and Anya to have a good life.  I want Giles to meet someone great in England.  I want my father to remember that Dawn and I are alive, and I want him to like you.

SPIKE: Don’t hold your breath.

BUFFY: Silly.  I want Dawn to know we love her.  I want her to love herself; to see what a great person she is.

SPIKE: I’ll try to help.

BUFFY: I want all my friends to know how wonderful you are.

SPIKE: I’d settle for Harris not trying to stake me.

BUFFY: I want our baby to be healthy.

SPIKE: Baby?
